  1. [b]Hi, Vivin,

I’m Nasser’s mother–we met at Noble a few times. We talked about your going to Iraq but I really hoped it wouldn’t happen! We will pray for your safe return. When are you due back? Soon, God willing. We used to say in the American West, “Keep your head down and your powder dry!” It still applies, at least the head down part! Take care and I hope to see you soon. We’re thinking about you.

  2. Hello Marla,

Yes, I do remember you! Thank you for your kind words and your prayers! They mean a lot. We have less than two months left in Iraq; there’s outprocessing after that and when all that is said and done, we should be in Phoenix sometime in November. I honestly can’t wait to get back. Hope to see you soon too, and thanks once again!

Some guy called Kuntan is hell bent in editing the Nair article to suit his views. He is threatening to do more. He unedits the correction made. DO SOMETHING!!!!!!

  5. Raks,

I have gone through the article. Unfortunately, it deals with an area that I am not familiar with. At the very least, Kuntan is adding comments to explain his changes. If he was simply making edits and not explaining his changes, then we would have a problem. You have to reach a consensus with him. If no consensus can be reached, and it turns into a revert war, then you will have to ask for mediation. I have only given a cursory glance at the article. I will go through it in greater detail to see if there are any POV changes in the areas that I am familiar with. Also, I have removed Kuntan’s NPOV template and moved it to the section dealing with the caste hierarchy.

Seems like you’ve addressed answer meant for someone (RAMS) to me. Kuntan have edited some of the matter to a more readable form. But in others he seems to be a bit unbudging (that’s the word i can think of now). Of course, i wonder why he doesn’t give answers to questions/clarifiactions to his edits. Certain things he blindly seems to reject.

  7. About the only postings I’ve understood are mine and yours, Vivin. I’m thinking these postings are in English but I can’t be sure! I’m confused! I guess I’m just not on the cutting edge!

Take care! See you in November, God willing!

  8. Hello Marla,

Haha – that entire exchange is about an article on Wikipedia, a free encyclopedia where anyone is free to contribute and edit articles. It really is something. I am a somewhat frequent contributor.

The days are flying by – I can’t believe September is almost over! Not long before I get back – looking forward to seeing you as well! Take care!
